NICOLA (New International Company of Live Arts) is seeking a volunteer Costume Designer for the project “Dance Around the World”, which will take place from 5th to 11th February with a final show on 11th Feb at Chelsea Theatre in London.

NICOLA is a non-profit organisation that works with young people who have a passion in performing arts and our aim is to promote new talent through our events and festivals.
Supported by the British Council through the European Commission, “Dance around the World” is a youth exchange program between the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain upcoming dancers.

The Costume Designer will design together with the Creative Directors the idea for the costumes our team will wear during the dance show, which will be on 11th February.

Key Responsibilities:
– Liaise with the artists and Artistic Director to find out what their style and needs are.
– Meet with the artists to try different styles of clothes during the week.
– Be creative and make your own suggestions.

You will:
– Be available during the week of the event.
– Be based in London.
– Have some experience and/or qualified and trained.

This will be an ideal opportunity for you to gain practical experience and expand your network among artists of different media. Your work will be fully credited and promoted on NICOLA’s social networks.
