NICOLA (New International Company of Live Arts) is a youth lead charity (number 1148529) that promotes positive interaction within and between youth communities through creative opportunities and projects, particularly in areas of high crime and low provision of extracurricular and arts activities.
One of NICOLA’ s main project is NICOLA Talent Factory, a concept born to train and develop young people in music and dance, improving their personalities, providing them with the right skills and confidence to start careers in arts related employment as performers, joining existing arts organisations or to run their own business or Social Enterprise. NICOLA Talent Factory provides a range of activities from live performances to talent exchanges nationally and internationally to regular mentoring sessions in order to help them to create original materials (music and music videos). Talent Factory facilitates networking amongst young artists.
We are currently recruiting a Community Manager and Artist Assistant who works along with a new upcoming artist, La Negra ( in the lasts steps of releasing and launching her first album. The right candidate will be very organized and have a passion for the arts. He/She will be working on live projects from day one and will be heavily involved in shaping our future product lines. Moreover he will be in charge of the marketing and promotion. We are looking for someone who will be available to work 1-2 days per week with a minimum of six months commitment. This is an internship position with a great opportunity to build experience within an arts organisation and build his/her portfolio.
The Community Manager and Artist assistant will:
– Contact producers, photographers, make up artists, etc.;
– Keep up with social media;
– Release of the upcoming videos in the right spaces;

– Networking;

– Contact radio stations;

– Contact music venues and festivals (National and International)

– Release a press kit;

– Develop a successful crowdfunding campaign;

– Plan, coordinate and organise a launching event;

– Make sure that dates and deadlines are met;

– Image consultant.

You have to have passion and knowledge of Jazz, Soul and R&B.
