NICOLA (New International Company of Live Arts) is a youth lead charity (number 1148529) that promotes positive interaction within and between youth communities through creative opportunities and projects, particularly in areas of high crime and low provision of extracurricular and arts activities.

One of NICOLA’ s main project is NICOLA Talent Factory, a concept born to train and develop young people in music and dance, improving their personalities, providing them with the right skills and confidence to start careers in arts related employment as performers, joining existing arts organisations or to run their own business or Social Enterprise. NICOLA Talent Factory provides a range of activities from live performances to talent exchanges nationally and internationally to regular mentoring sessions in order to help them to create original materials (music and music videos). Talent Factory facilitates networking amongst young artists.

We are currently recruiting a Projects Manager to plan and organise events, workshops, music session and music videos. The right candidate will have to be much organised and with a lot of passion for the arts; we are looking for someone available from Monday to Friday for a minimum of 8 months commitment.

This is an unpaid INTERN position with a great opportunity to build experience working within an arts organisation and event management. At the end of the internship there could be possibility to receive a job offer.

 

The Projects Manager will:
● Update databases
● Keep in touch with the artists
● Plan and coordinate events
● Plan and coordinate music, dance and music video sessions/workshops
● Recruit and coordinate artists, volunteers/inter
● Some administration tasks
