First Friday Film Club (Islington)

Organised by Reel Islington, Rowan Arts and the Holloway Neighbourhood group, this event will take place on the first Friday evening of every month, and is open to all.

Doors open at 7pm and the screening begins at 7.30pm.

COST: Free. Suggested donation of £5. Bring your own refreshments.

LOCATION: The Old Fire Station, 84 Mayton Street, London, N7 6QT

DATES:
• 1st July 2011 – “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”. A 1964 classic starring Catherine Deneuve. The first French musical in colour – where all the dialogue is sun. Come and see this amazing, heartbreaking classic.
• 5th August 2011 – “Wings Of Desire”. Directed by Wim Wenders. Starring Bruno Ganz, Solveig Dommartin and Peter Falk. An angel tires of overseeing human activity and wishes to become human when he falls in love with a mortal.
• 2nd September 2011 – Wild Places theme – curated by local green groups. Details to be confirmed.
