The Secret Art Show at York City Screen is an art exhibition with a difference, aiming to raise £10,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust and offering visitors the chance to buy a mini-masterpiece for only £45
With over 400 originals to choose from, the collection includes work by well known international artists, who can command prices upwards of four figures, right through to those not usually known for their artistic abilities – such as playwright Alan Bennett and the Archbishop of York, Dr. John Sentamu.
The Secret Art Show will give visitors the opportunity to have a little fun and, with a keen eye, seek out something very special for only £45. All pieces of artwork measure 12cm x 12cm (the size of a CD case) and are being sold anonymously. All the money raised will help support those with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), which affects over 100,000 people in the UK.
The Secret Art Show is at York City Screen, 13 – 17 Coney Street, York, YO1 9QL from
Sunday 7th to Sunday 28th November. Public viewing days are Sunday 7th – Saturday 13th November. Sales days are Sunday 14th November, 9am – 5pm and Monday 15th – Sunday 28th November, 11am – 5pm.
