Following their incredible yet well-deserved success at the Edinburgh festival, French Dance Company Arcosm’s ‘Echoa’ has become a worldwide hit, attracting audienced of all ages.
Capturing such humour and beauty; musicians and dancers combine until they incredibly merge and echo to form one great wall of sound using instruments, an impressive set and each other’s bodies to magical effect.
The children find enormous pleasure in the choreography through exploration of the bodies; as if they have a life of their own uncontrolled by their owner. The fabulous score includes the tango, the cha-cha and a childhood music box.
“It’s hard to conceive of anyone – of any age – not loving Echoa. This innovative show is a masterclass in how to engage a multi-generational audience… Rarely is contemporary dance so instantly accessible and fun, eliciting peels of giggling laughter from young mouths alongside adult guffaws”
