Here at Artsphere we are always looking to form strategic partnerships with other creative arts organisations who share our vision and ethos, to join together to help promote the arts and each other.
The Public Reviews is one such organisation, and we are pleased to announce our partnership with them.
I first became aware of founder and editor John Roberts and The Public Reviews whilst rooting around Twitter. After reading a few reviews and taking a look at the web site it became obvious that this was an organisation dedicated to bringing a love of theatre to the masses, and most interestingly in this case, by the masses!
Reviewing all types of theatre, whether that be commercial, repertory or fringe, The Public Reviews prides itself on not using professional reviewers but instead getting honest opinions from regularly contributing members of the public. Over the past few years the site has grown considerably and they now also review in the US as well as the UK.
We are delighted to help continue that growth in our own small way, and the new partnership will see a number of reviews each month by The Public Reviews published on the Artsphere site. But as well as a sharing of site content, it is the sharing of a passion and vision for the arts that excites me about the future of this partnership.
If you haven’t yet heard of The Public Reviews pop on over to their site at http://www.thepublicreviews.com – take a peek through the recent reviews and you’re sure to find a great show to see, just in time for the weekend!
